Installation & Configuration Guide

Mount the scanner securely at the recommended height and angle. Connect the 24V DC power to the M12, 4-pin A-coded connector. Connect the two M12, 4-pin D-coded ports to your EtherNet/IP network. Configure protective fields, warning zones, and monitoring cases using the SICK Safety Designer software on a PC (via USB or Ethernet). The integrated display helps during setup and diagnostics.

System Compatibility & Integration

This scanner communicates directly via EtherNet/IP with CIP Safety protocol, allowing seamless integration into compatible safety controllers and PLCs from Allen-Bradley and other vendors supporting CIP Safety. It supports Device Level Ring (DLR) topology for network redundancy.
