Data Mapping & I/O Addressing
The module uses 3 words (6 bytes) of DeviceNet data. Word 0 is a status byte. Word 1 (Bits 00-07) corresponds to physical inputs I0 through I7. Word 2 (Bits 16-23) corresponds to inputs I8 through I15. A bit value of 1 indicates the input is ON.
Installation & Wiring
Install on a 35 mm DIN rail. Connect field devices using the 37-pin D-sub connector. The universal design allows easy connection of either sinking (NPN) or sourcing (PNP) devices without module changes. Ensure input signals are within the specified 9.6-28.8V DC range.
