• Can I use this 3300 NSv Proximity Probe with my old 3300 RAM system? Yes – the NSv version is mechanically and electrically interchangeable with previous 3300 RAM probes.
• What is the maximum field wiring length to the monitor? You can run up to 305 metres (1000 feet) of triad cable between the proximitor and the monitor.
• Does the probe withstand aggressive process media? Yes – the PPS tip and FEP cable offer increased chemical resistance, ideal for process compressors.
• What torque should I apply when mounting into a machine case? Use only finger‑tight (max 0.56 N·m) – higher torque can damage the probe tip.
• How does the armour affect bending? Even with stainless steel armour, you can safely bend to a 25.4 mm radius.
• Is the probe pressure‑tested before shipment? Not as standard – but we can arrange a custom pressure test on request (contact Ubest Automation).
