CI871K01 ABB Profinet I/O Interface Kit
Description
CI871K01 Package including: - CI871, Communication Interface - TP867, Baseplate
The CI871 module facilitates the connection of an AC 800M controller to PROFINET IO devices. It features a robust and efficient design that ensures reliable communication with PROFINET IO protocol through Ethernet at a speed of 100 Mbps. The module is mounted on the TP867 baseplate, which includes two RJ45 Ethernet connectors. The CH1 connector supports both 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps, whereas the CH2 connector supports only 10 Mbps. The CI871 also includes a code lock to prevent incorrect unit installation onto the TP867 baseplate.
Key Features
- Ethernet Port: Provides one 10/100 Mbps fast Ethernet port for PROFINET IO (RJ45 connector on the TP867 baseplate).
- Simple Installation: Simple DIN-rail mounting.
- Communication: Supports communication with PROFINET IO protocol through Ethernet with a speed of 100 Mbps.
- Code Lock: Preset two-letter Alpha code locking device installed in the unit base, which prevents mounting of incompatible components.
- Hot Swap: Supports hot swap, allowing for easy replacement without shutting down the system.
